Power to Kids Key Implementer (prev Champions and Leaders) Training 

Outcome

Training will provide participants with:

  • An outline of the role of Power to Kids Champion or Leader
  • Knowledge to successfully complete the Power to Kids Action plan for children and young people in their care to embed preventative and early intervention strategies around sexual safety
  • Confidence to assist others in their team in having ‘Brave conversations’ utillising the TALK, CARE and YARN models
  • Knowledge around Strategy 3 – system response, including embedding a missing from home strategy
  • Skills required to embed and implement the program

This training is ideally for those working in out of home or residential care. Please ensure you meet the pre-requisites for this session to attend.  If you are unsure about your eligibility email us for further information.

Who is this training for?
This training is designed for residential care professionals who have completed the one day Power to Kids Workforce Training and who have nominated (or been nominated) to be a champion or leader of the program within a house, team or organisation.
